State v. Edgar Robles Escudero

Jury Convicts Edgar Robles Escudero of First-Degree Murder (D-101-CR-2023-00189)

Santa Fe, NM – (October 3, 2025) Today, a Santa Fe County jury found Edgar Robles Escudero guilty of First-Degree Murder (Willful and Deliberate) and Conspiracy to Commit First-Degree Murder in connection with the January 23, 2023, killing of Eduardo Preciado Luevano at Camel Tracks in Santa Fe County. The Court immediately sentenced Mr. Escudero to life imprisonment plus fifteen years.

In closing arguments, Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Saavedra urged the jury to weigh the evidence carefully to remain guided by the facts, and we thank the jury for their careful time and attention in deciding this case.
